On 24 July 2021, we reported that the infamous Tesler campaign promoted the FXActiv (www.fxactiv.cc) broker scam. Today the scam is promoted by the fraud campaign OILPROFIT on the website https://demonzgtvw.xyz. Anyone who registers with Tesler or OILPROFIT is automatically registered as a soon-to-be victim of FXActiv, where they will lose a lot of money. The scam is active with the domains www.fxactiv.cc, www.fxactiv.co, and www.fxactiv.io. The OILPROFIT campaign redirects victims to the payment page of www.fxactiv.cc. The cashier works via the domain https://abncbp.com/cashier with SecurePaymentGateway for credit and debit cards.
The FXActiv scam is operated by Lollygag Partners Ltd, an offshore entity registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The scam is available in five languages: English, Spanish, Russian, German, and Czech. These are then also the languages in which boiler room agents attack the victims. Several regulators have warned against the FXActiv scam and its operators in recent months, such as the Spanish CNMV and the Italian Consob.
In July 2021, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning against the fraudulent Tesler campaign. More regulatory warnings against fraudulent campaigns and websites like OILPROFT, Bitcoin Profit, Bitcoin Loophole, and many others are needed. Those campaigns are dangerous for European consumers.
