Belgrade will prosecute a Gal Barak boiler room agent, or so they say!

Serbian Rada Tanackovic was one of Gal Barak's Serbian boiler room agents. According to the findings of the prosecutor's office in Bamberg, Germany, she worked for the broker scam XtraderFX with the stage name Nicole Becker and defrauded clients. The German prosecutor's office issued an arrest warrant for her in January 2020. However, she could not be arrested. Serbian authorities questioned her in August 2020 and want to pursue the investigation in Serbia.

Cybercrime war – Who is the real Wolf of Sofia?

In September 2020, an Austrian court sentenced Gal Barak, the Wolf of Sofia, to four years in prison for investment fraud and money laundering. He was recently released on parole and is currently staying in Israel, where he gave an interesting interview to Calcalist in August 2021. He spoke openly about the fraud and manipulation with his scam brands XtraderFX, OptionStarsGlobal, SafeMarkets, and Golden Markets. According to Barak, everyone in the organization was aware of the fraud.

Finally! The indictment against German payment processor and laundromat B2G!

To be exact, the prosecutors filed charges against the individuals behind the illegal payment processor B2G. We have reported extensively in recent years about the Cologne registered B2G GmbH and its principals, the German Rainer Treuer and former Russian secret agent Oleg Shvartsman. B2G was one of the very big notorious German laundromats and scam facilitators in the binary option era. Among others, they laundered money for Gal Barak and E&G Bulgaria and dozens of other scams.

Fighting cybercrime – Next trial in the ‘Wolf of Sofia’ Case starts!

Israeli Gal Barak is a nice and funny guy in private. But yet his business is scams and online investment fraud. He was one of the cybercrime organization E&G Bulgaria principals and was sentenced to four years in prison by a court in September 2020. He was the Wolf of Sofia! Remarkably friendly sentencing given the alleged €200 million his victims' losses amounts to. His Israeli lieutenants Tal-Jacki "Jacki" Fitelzon and Kfir Levy, are currently in pre-trial detainment in Germany. The trial against "Jacki" will start on November 22, 2021, in Munich. Watch this video! PandaTS and its scam clients!

The following video from 2015 shows a number of binary options and forex scams that operated as a white label solution of PandaTS and praises the company of Maor Lahav and Shmuel Gutman. Among them 10Markets, 99Binary, AlphaTrade, or CTOptions. PandaTS has been in the industry for many years and therefore the data seized by German law enforcement agents is probably a goldmine for their forensic team. Convicted Israeli cybercrime activist Gal Barak was also a customer with his scam brands XTraderFX and SafeMarkets.

Prosecutors filed the indictment against Israeli cybercrime lieutenant Jacki Fitelzon

We already reported a few weeks ago about the upcoming indictment of Israeli Tal-Jacki Zecharia Fitelzon. The 44-year-old guy was a lieutenant of the cybercrime organization E&G Bulgaria of Gal Barak, the "Wolf of Sofia." The latter was sentenced to four years in prison in Vienna in September 2020. The Central Office Cybercrime Bavaria (ZKB) has filed charges against Fitelzon for defrauding 335 German victims of approximately €8.7 million. Fitelzon must now face a trial in Munich. Further charges surrounding E&G Bulgaria will follow.

FCA warns against PandaTS scam client Coinnery!

The Israeli broker technology and platform provider PandaTS is currently facing some hassles with law enforcement agencies from several jurisdictions. Law enforcement agents from the Israeli police and their counterparts from other jurisdictions reportedly recently raided PandaTS' offices in Israel. It is no secret that many scammers use the PandaTS platform. The UK FCA has followed FinTelegram's assessment and issued an investor warning against PandaTS white-label scam Coinnery operated by Coinnery Ltd.

Gery Shalon – The Plea Deal and the forfeited fortune of a cybercrime mastermind

In 2015, U.S. prosecutors charged the Georgia-born Israeli citizen Gery "Gabi" Shalon in a twenty-three count Superseding Indictment. He was charged with computer hacking, securities fraud, aggravated identity theft, illegal online gambling, illegal money transmitting business, and money laundering. Most of the files are still unsealed. What is known now is that in April 2017, Shalon has pled guilty to all 23 counts and made a plea deal with prosecutors that included transferring all seized funds and assets to the United States. We are talking about a real big fortune. We are talking about a real big fortune including a $74.7M bank account.

Another regulatory warning against PandaTS scam-client InvestXE!

We recently received a complaint from PandaTS because we reported on the scam clients of the Israeli FinTech of Maor Lahav and Shmuel Gutman. The General Legal Counsel threatens FinTelegram with legal action if we would not stop with the reports. However, the fact is that many large scams operate as a white label solution on their platform. This includes SafeMarkets or XTraderFX by Gal Barak. Currently, the InvestXE scam platform is also running on PandaTS. On September 15, the FMA in New Zealand issued a warning against InvestXE.

Finally! ING’s scam-facilitating subsidiary Payvision may be closed down!

Rudolf Booker is said to spend a lot of time on his €30M yacht. The running costs of the yacht are €3M per year. Well, ok. He has enough time and money. He sold FinTech Payvision, which he founded and led as CEO, to ING in 2018 at a valuation of €360M. Booker and Payvision mainly served high-risk merchants, scams, and cybercrime organizations. Booker personally was well acquainted with leading scammers like Uwe Lenhoff and Gal Barak. Now the victims of these scammers want their money from Payvision. And ING considers to close down its troublesome subsidiary, local media reports.

Attention! New broker scams on the notorious PandaTS platform

PandaTS is currently facing some hassles with law enforcement agencies from several jurisdictions. Among them, the Israeli ones. Agents from the Israeli police and their counterparts from other jurisdictions reportedly raided PandaTS' offices in Israel almost two weeks ago. And seized a lot of data. It is well known that the PandaTS platform is used by many scammers, such as the already convicted cybercrime principal Gal Barak. He has also accused PandaTS of manipulating trades for white-label platform clients. In his trial, Barak moved the Austrian court to order a search of his home in Israel and Cyprus.
