Be aware of broker scam Trade Union promoted by crypto fraud campaigns

This morning we received another email from Investors Education (www.investors.education) announcing that money would be available for collection. We would only have to quickly take care of it via the link sent along. The link then leads to Bitcoin Buyer, of course, one of the numerous fraudulent crypto campaigns that are currently active. After registering, we were redirected directly to the payment page of the trade union scam. Stay far, far away from these fraud campaigns and scams!

It’s about time! Australien consumer watchdog sues Meta over fake Facebook ads!

The Australian consumer watchdoch sues Facebook's parent company, Meta, over targeted fake crypto ads that have scammed Australians out of more than $100 million. The ACCC alleges the company engaged in false, misleading, and deceptive conduct by publishing scam advertisements featuring prominent Australians. The ACCC says that, in one instance, a victim lost $650,000 to a scam. Fake ads on Google and Facebook are the most efficient way for scammers to chase victims.

Investor warning against Tedex broker scam promoted by YuanPay fraud campaign!

The fraudulent YuanPay crypto campaign is being intensively advertised via Google again today. Anyone who wants to buy the allegedly official Chinese cryptocurrency Yuan will be redirected to the payment page of the broker scam Tedex.co after registering. Redirection is done via the domain https://direct2platform.com/fingerprint. There, potential victims can lose their money via deposits with credit and debit cards and cryptocurrencies. Stay far away and protect your money and data. Yuan is a fake, and Tedex.co a scam.

Russian Google Game – More fake publishes exposed!

Despite all the warnings from regulators and FinTelegram about the fraudulent crypto campaigns, Google - with the exception of Google UK & Ireland - continues to accept money from scammers and run their ads. In doing so, the scammers are working through Russian fake publishers who appear to be working with hijacked data from existing Russian companies. We have found four new fake publishers in today's review and included them in our list.

Our FinTelegram team has been focusing on fraudulent marketing campaigns on Google and social media to chase victims for broker scams for several weeks. Google UK & Ireland has tightened the conditions for placing financial ads since August 2021, but these conditions do not apply in the EU. Google is cashing in with scams. We have established that fake publishers in Russia are advertising fraudulent crypto campaigns on Google. The search giant doesn't care about regulatory warnings. We call this the Russian Google Game!

The Peninsula Clarion claims to be the only comprehensive source of news and information for Alaska's central Kenai Peninsula. Sound Publishing Inc. in Washington State, operates Peninsula Clarion, which today promotes the notorious crypto fraud campaign Bitcoin Revolution. Well, to be honest, Google Search, too, sells its online ad spaces to the scammers promoting this fraud campaign. Anyone typing Bitcoin Revolution into the Google search engine gets four Google Ads as well as a prompt to read Peninsula Clarion.

We started last week with the Russian Google Game series detailing how operators of fraudulent crypto marketing campaigns run ads on Google search engine pages via fake publishers in Russia. While Google UK & Ireland tightened the rules for placing financial ads in August 2021, making it harder for scammers and their marketing agencies to get in, Google continues to allow scammers to chase consumers in the EU despite regulatory warnings.
